Here at Helsinki-Malmi airport
(EFHF) in 1982
The aircraft was badly damaged on June 5 1977
at Hyvinkää airfield (EFHV) during
take off. The pilot decided to abort the take-off due to lack of power. He
was unable
to stop the aircraft before the end of the runway and hit some trees and
plane ran out
of runway and it hit some trees and the plane turned upside down. On August
11 1983
during cross-country flight the plane run aut of fuel only about 4 km before
its destination
Kemi airport (EFKE). Yhe pilot did forced landing on a field nearby, the
landing gear
and wings was badly damaged, and the plane was not repaired to flying
condition. It was
seen at display in an amusement park Planet Fun Fun in Kerava near Helsinki.
The park
was owned by the famous finnish movie director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2,
Clifhanger a.o.)
Today the amusement park doesn't exist anymoore, and the wreck of OH-AYI has
also
disappeared.
